Born in 1987,   Ugandan comedienne and actress Anne Kansiime is East Africa’s most recognizable comedienne, whose videos have attracted over a hundred thousand hits on YouTube and are widely circulated on social media platforms, is well known as a stickler for originality.

The sexy actress who also does stand-up comedy, tackles corruption, social, economic issues, dating, domestic violence, politicians’ lives, marriage issues, children, family relations and friendships is regarded by many as the funniest comedian in East Africa.

The comedienne is set to perform in Australia this March at the African comedy festival. Kansiime had her screen breakthrough in the Don’t Mess With Kansiime show.
