Leading Afro-fusion musician Achien'g Abura has come out to defend herself after it was alleged that she was pushing the agenda of atheism in Kenya. 

In a long Facebook rant this evening, the singer attacked SDE writer Cake Mukei for what she termed as an "attempt at outright misinformation and sensationalism", saying that the journalist misquoted her.

The writer said that the singer was asked about her religious views during a recent press conference after rumours emerged she was apparently pushing for atheism.
