Celebrated Kalenjin artist Diana Chelele has been admitted to hospital after allegedly attempting to commit suicide on Saturday.

According to Royal Media's Kalenjin radio station Chamgei FM, the songstress who is popular for hit songs such as Chuki and Mpenzi wangu was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after the failed suicide attempt.

The details on what might have prompted her to try and commit suicide are however scanty. We hope she will recover soon.
