Kenyan street DJ, Vic Arika, commonly known as DJ Arika, erroneously announced that celebrated Kenyan boxer Conjestina Achieng had passed on last night.

“THE BOXING LADY CONJESTINA ACHIENG HAS PASSED ON A FEW HOURS AGO. RIP. God rest your soul in peace!!?,?”the DJ posted on Facebook last night.

” It is with sorrow that I have learnt about the sudden and shocking demise of our own superstar;Conjestina Achieng NYAGEM. She succumbed yesternight while receiving treatment. Surely death fears no bound and it has snatched Kenya a heroine that brought much glory to our country. My deep felt condolence goes to the family for siring not only a multi-winner boxer but also a voice of inspiration to the girl child. May her soul rest in eternal peace. (sic)

Responding to the rumors, Conjestina's brother said that they know the person who's behind the ill-disposed claims and they've vowed to find him.

“Conjestina Achieng is not dead. We must know the person who is spreading this bad information all over. We must get this person. That is the investigation we are doing right now,” Ochieng said.
