Tanzania rapper Joseph Haule popularly known by his stage name; Professor Jay has called it a day in the music industry.

The rapper who has been in the music industry for quite sometime, has decided to join the politics world.  He confirmed the news through his Facebook account and this is what he wrote:

"Rasmi! @professorjaytz ametangaza rasmi atagombea ubunge katikjimbo la Mikumi kupitia Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA)."

He will be running for a parliamentary seat to represent the people of Mikumi-Morogoro, a constituency in Eastern Tanzania.
