With few hours left for the Wellington Sevens tournament to kick off, Kenya 7's national team is well prepared and ready for the tournament. Kenya will be meeting the Pumas for the first time since last year’s Tokyo Sevens where they edged out the South Americans 24-7 at the pool stages.

Billy Odhiambo, one of the youngest players who plays for Strathmore University club; Leos, shared a photo on his instagram with Ma'a Allan Nonu, a professional rugby union player from New Zealand and captioned: “Special jersey presentation by @maanonu #feelgoodfriday #welly7s #priceless." Nonu plays for the Blues in Super Rugby and All Blacks internationally.

Kenya are currently placed 14th in the World Rugby Sevens Series standings with 11 points after reaching Shield final at Gold Coast and Dubai before Bowl final Mandela Bay Sevens, Port Elizabeth.
