Whoever coined the phrase "pombe sio supu" was quite right! Alcohol can make you do some very stupid things, which after sobering up, it would be hard to believe that you actually did.

Ask one 'mlevi' who decided he could possibly have one too many and still steer his SUV to his home garage. On Saturday night, one Denis Odero Olonde, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, caused an accident at Syokimau, along the ever busy Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, while driving his white Nissan X-Trail, registration number KBJ 105V.

Denis hit another car, belonging to motorist Gabriel Kagundu, from the back really hard! Gabriel is a popular Kenyan rapper. He is a member of rap trio P-Unit. He is popularly known by his stage moniker Gabu or Buganya.

Hayo tisa. Kumi ni... Dennis pleaded with Gabu not to involve police, since he was willing to "repair" the damaged car, a Toyota Mark X. The two reached at a gentleman's agreement, as they exchanged their particulars.

"After hitting my car, i analysed him and he looked very drunk. From then, I have been trying to reach him on phone but he's not been picking up my calls. Today, he has even switched off his phone completely. I am now letting the police deal with the case. I believe they will apprehend him and make him pay for his misgivings," Gabu told Mpasho.

After trying to reach out to Denis, Gabu reported the matter at Mlolongo Police Station on Sunday, November 13th, 2016, under the Occurrence Book number OB/03/13/11/16.
