There was drama at Oil Libya petrol station in Westlands when two British nationals got into an argument with some locals over a puppy.

A video that is doing rounds on social media shows the two Britons who claim to be soldiers in a heated argument with a man believed to be the owner of the pet who claimed it had not been paid for.

In the video, clad in a grey t-shirt and blue jeans one of the men seen trying to hide the puppy in question as he is hurled out of a popular eatery.

While this is going on, a Kenyan man is heard asking the man to give him back his dog in Swahili but his efforts are thwarted by another Briton who is dressed in a maroon t-shirt.

The first Briton continues to hold on to the pet claiming it is his and at some point he is pushed to the ground before his clothes are torn. Surprisingly, the man still held on to the dog even as he was being threatened.

In defense, the man said he paid for the pet and that the men who were trying to force him to give it back were just dishonest.

"You are horrible people. I paid for this dog, so I've taken it away from nobody. I bought it," he said.

It is still not clear whether he was eventually set free as some social media users claim some policemen who tried to intervene were also insulted.
