In a heartfelt reflection shared through some Instagram throwback photos, Hon. Peter Salasya encouraged his audience to step out of their comfort zones and resist the temptation to give up.

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya is known for his hard work in achieving his current position. His journey has been far from easy; he began as a bicycle hawker before being introduced to politics by Eugene Wamalwa, who played a pivotal role in his career.

Salasya shared a series of photos on Instagram, contrasting his struggles financially in the past—where his stress was evident—with a current image showcasing his success, including two expensive phones: a Samsung Ultra and the Samsung Z5 Fold.

He stressed the importance of venturing into the unknown to embrace new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for personal growth.

"Never lose hope in life," he wrote. "Work hard even in the face of rejection, failure, and disappointment. Don't sit in your comfort zone and expect miracles. Even God does not favor laziness; He helps those who help themselves and pray for success."

Quoting a Bible verse, Salasya added, "Faith without action is dead. The secret is to work hard and pray for God's guidance and wisdom. Goodnight, my beloved people."
