A survey by Tifa reveals that the majority of Kenyans oppose the reappointment of sacked Cabinet Secretaries.

53 percent of respondents believe that the dismissed CSs should not be reappointed.

Former Interior CS Kithure Kindiki was the only one to receive an approval rating above 50 percent among survey participants.

The survey findings show that 61 percent of those interviewed favored Kindiki's reappointment.

Former ICT CS Eliud Owalo came in second with an approval rating of 48 percent, followed by former Education CS Ezekiel Machogu.

The poll, conducted on July 16 and 17, 2024, sampled 1,507 respondents distributed proportionally across counties based on population size.

The margin of error for the survey was +/- 2.52 percent, with data collected through telephonic interviews at the household level.
