Raila Odinga's daughter Winnie has finally opened up about how she was able to watch the UEFA Champions League final revealing that a friend was responsible for that.

The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League took place at London's historic Wembley Stadium, with Real Madrid defeating Borussia Dortmund to claim its 15th European title.

Winnie expressed excitement on her social media about her long-time friend Cesc.

"Let me tell y'all about my long-time friend Cesc."

Winnie was spotting a cast on her leg for an injury.

Cesc was concerned about her leg and asked her, "Kazi what happened?" according to her account of their meeting. They shook hands as he looked down at her right leg.

She was dressed in light blue jeans and a white jacket, with the Champions League banner in front of her and Cesc.

"I said, Cesc, these Nairobi streets," and on her left foot was a pink baby doll shoe with black socks. He appeared very sympathetic.

"And then he said, 'Let's go to the Champions League final,'" continued Winnie with a picture in a crowded stadium.

This time she wore a blue Adidas sweatshirt and appeared in happy spirits with the thrilled crowd.

It is not clear if she is still suffering from an injury sustained in Rwanda in 2023, that she revealed was an Achilles Tendon tear.

Francesc Fàbregas Soler is a Spanish football manager and former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder.

Several other high-profile Kenyans have recently attended games at the same stadium, including House Speaker Moses Wetangula.
