President William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto have delivered their Christmas message to Kenyans which was full of hope and joy.
In a video released on Sunday, the President's family encouraged Kenyans to come together during the celebrations, stressing the importance of brotherhood and unity.
"As we gather together with our families and communities to celebrate the joyous occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, let us extend a loving hand, share kind words, share hot food, and exchange caring gifts with our brothers and sisters in need," Ruto said.
"Let's look forward together to a new year with hope, progress, and common prosperity. May the coming year bring you peace, happiness, and satisfaction."
First Lady Rachel echoed Ruto's sentiments, urging Kenyans to "appreciate the connections that make us a strong and strong nation," while remaining hopeful for better days next year.
He urged Kenyans to sympathize with the less fortunate in society and support the spirit of Christmas.
"The spirit of Christmas is generosity, love, and community. By supporting those around us, we promote joy and blessings," he said.
"Merry Christmas and New Year. God bless you and your loved ones."
Earlier this week, President Ruto and his First Lady held a Christmas party for children at the State House. Ruto said Christmas is a time to come together to celebrate the birth of Christ.
