Kenyans are finding themselves digging deeper into their pockets to keep up with the cost of living. This is as a result of the taxation that the Government keeps increasing and piling pressure on our pockets.

Kenyans are urging Raila Odinga as a prominent political figure to propose solutions to address pressing issues facing Kenyans.

Discussions on how to deal with it have prompted a Kenyan man to tag Winnie Odinga, the daughter of Azimio leader Raila Odinga to intervene and call for demonstrations.

"Tell your dad to bring back the demonstrations," the man appealed.

The idea did not sit well with Winnie who protested and reminded him of one little detail that may have escaped his mind.

"You sent him to Bondo. Leave my father alone," she reacted sharply.

Maandamano is a hashtag trending online on the app formerly known as Twitter. Scores of Kenyans are penning their experiences or ideas about how disheartened they are with skyrocketing prices.

On November 7, Raila met with a group of Mt Kenya leaders where they discussed the high cost of living and devolution.

"Corruption we realized remains a persistent obstacle to our economic ambitions. They stated their commitment to ending the profiling of Mt Kenya youth and fostering patriotism," read part of the Azimio leaders comment.
