Schools are expected to close this coming week ahead of the start of the national exams. KCPE, KPSEA, and KCSE begin on the 30th of October and MP Babu Owino wants to extend a helping hand to students.
The Embakasi East MP has announced an online revision session for mathematics. This is the third installment of revision classes since he began the noble cause. He has always called Maths the easiest subject.
He is encouraging candidates to log in as he seeks to dispel the notion that mathematics is difficult.
"I AM BACK. STUDENTS MUST PASS KCPE/KCSE EXAMS. We will PREMIERE KCPE MATHEMATICS REVISION on MONDAY from 7.30 PM."
Owino's educational background includes 4 degrees. First-class Honors in Actuarial science, Second Class Upper Division in LLB Law, and 2 master’s degrees.
He began the maths session during COVID-19 when schools were online.
HE explained his rationale for revision. In May 2020, Owino credited his knowledge to his upbringing saying he recognized – from a young age – that, “It’s only Education that could get me from the shackles of poverty and I decided to concentrate on it.”
