• The cheapest version doesn’t have some of the rare materials used and crazy complications that the brand is known for

Moses Kuria is a well-dressed man. His suits and shoes show a man who takes time to make sure he appears looking good in public.

He was on Citizen TV last night June 7, for an interview about the cost of living, where the controversial Housing Levy/fund took centre stage.

His blue suit, goldish tie, and white shirt fitted him quite well.

"It was a terrific evening engaging and listening to different views & ideas from fellow countrymen. The discussion continues & we must make Kenya a great country as we pledged during our campaigns. Extra gratitudes to @citizentvkenya and the entire RMS for such an Amazing show."

Also of interest was the wristwatch he had on. According to luxury enthusiasts, the watch is a Richard Mille brand that costs over 60k dollars.

Richard Mille is a Swiss brand based in the town of Les Breuleux, in the Canton of Jura. It operates within the Montres Valgine company.

According to the brand, every Richard Mille is “accompanied by a unique, hand-signed warranty card embedded with a holographic security seal on its surface.” The document is signed and dated a second time by the authorized dealer.

Here are some celebrities who own it

Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Kevin Hart, Rafael Nadal, Ed Sheeran, Drake, and John Malkovich.

According to Gearpatrol.com, "Richard Mille watch prices aren't merely the sum of its costs, as the company naturally has to make money, too.

Any brand will set prices based on what the market will bear, and Richard Mille largely serves an 'I've-got-millions-to-burn-and-want-to-make-it-known demographic'.

The mere fact of the brand being synonymous with "expensive" is no doubt part of the attraction to many.

The brand makes around 5,000 watches per year and estimates around 54,000 are in existence across 140 references as of 2022."

According to the Wrist Advisor, the watch Kuria could be wearing may be the cheapest version.

The website says; "The cheapest Richard Mille watch is the RM 016 Automatic Winding Extra Flat, which costs $60,000 MSRP.

This entry-level Richard Mille watch has a stainless steel/titanium mix case construction, skeleton dial, in-house movement with a 55-hour power reserve, and is extremely flat."

The website further adds that; "Even though the RM 016 is by far the cheapest Richard Mille watch, that doesn’t mean that it lacks performance or quality. It simply just doesn’t have some of the rare materials used and crazy complications that the brand is known for."
