Azimio Chief Raila Odinga is set to hold prayers on Sunday in Embakasi constituency. He will join congregants at Jesus Teaching Ministry church along Manyanja road.

Raila said he is in church to pray for the nation. Currently, the Azimio Chief has called for mass demonstrations on Monday and Thursday of every week.

The demos are to protest the high cost of living Kenyans are facing due to the hard economic times.

On Monday, when the mass demonstrations began and counties like Nairobi and Kisumu had youths in the streets decrying the high cost of living.

Raila said the mass action demos will not stop until the government attends to Kenyans' demands.

"We have started a war. Every Monday we shall protest. This war will not end until Kenyans get what they deserve," he said

Raila is also calling for mass action demos on grounds that the August 9 election servers be opened to verify who really won the elections.

The ODM leader claims that his victory was stolen in the August 9, 2022 elections.

This is despite the Supreme Court upholding the results that saw President William Ruto ascend to power.
