Speaking to the press Mumias East MP Salasya said he almost suffocated in the process.
He blamed the security for distracting their 'peaceful' demonstrations.
"Shughuli bana but nakunywa teargas. We just had peaceful demonstrations. We have been locked inside here (KICC) and they are harassing us like cows. These cops are also suffering like other Kenyans yet they are spraying us with Teargas. I almost suffocated in the process," he said.
Ugunja Member of Parliament (MP) Opiyo Wandayi, among those protesting, has been arrested at KICC during the ongoing Azimio La Umoja protests.
