Nominated senator Karen Nyamu is always under public eye and criticism over her controversial relationship with her baby daddy Mugithi superstar Samidoh.

She however seems to have grown tough skin and has responses for everything.

The mother of two found herself yet again having to exchange words with a netizen after she was "advised" to abandon her relationship with Samidoh and date someone with the class such as her fellow politicians.

All this came about after she shared a photo where she was posing next to her fellow lawmakers, Senator Ali Roba, Allan Chesang, and Mwenda Gathaya. She captioned the photo, "An attitude of whatever it takes is impossible to stop!"

The netizen identified as Njeri asked Karen why she was not pursuing her fellow members of parliament instead of fighting for an already married man with a family and kids.

“Why don't you pursue men like this of your class, instead of going to wreck the family of another woman who is bringing up a family,” the netizen commented.

Not one to let things slide, Karen called out the netizen for her small-minded thinking. Karen pointed out that working in parliament did not automatically make you classy.

“Such mediocrity about class. Just because they are in parliament you assume they are more classy.

We are in that family together and we will build it together. You continue pursuing your fictional class,” Nyamu fired back.

Nyamu recently revealed she was not interested in marrying Samidoh despite having two children together.

She further revealed that Samidoh kept her off his social media because he respects his wife and Karen understands that.

“He's a gentleman and a very considerate man. He knows it will hurt the first lady (Edday). She deserves respect,” Nyamu said.
