• While some Kenyans complained that some were taking advantage by bringing along older kids, most of the mothers seemed to be carrying toddlers.

While there might be some low voter turnout witnessed in some places in the country, mothers everywhere are showing up, kids in tow to vote for their preferred candidates.

Most of the proud mothers carried their kids on their backs as they waited in specialized lines to cast their votes.

The patristic women came from different communities and creeds but in their hearts and minds, their goal was one: to exercise their constitutional right through their vote.
