As the country holds its breath awaiting the new crop of leaders a power blackout has been reported in most parts of Samburu County.

The blackout was reported at a time when the tallying exercise iscurrently ongoing across the country after Kenyans cast their ballots during the just concluded general elections.

Kenya power was yet to issue a statement regarding the black out within the county by the time of going to press.

Results around most polling stations have started streaming in.
