Skirts, kitenges reign supreme in the wardrobe of the female politicians on this list. The women mentioned in this list have never been seen in public wearing trousers.

These fashionable women dress in bold colors, interesting designs, and hairstyles to complete the look.

1. Charity Ngilu

The outgoing Kitui Governor always rocks skirts, that come in bold colors. Madam Ngilu pairs the skirts with a formal blouse and jacket to complete the look. She also dons vitenges.

Ngilu will not be seeking reelection and has endorsed David Musila to succeed her.

2. Zipporah Kittony

She is a former Senator who is famous for championing women's and girls' rights.

The former Maendeleo ya wanawake leader is still actively involved in politics. She recently released a memoir for those who want to read about her journey.

3. Julia Ojiambo

From her role as PS for gender to that of a nutritionist, Prof Julia Ojiambo has had many firsts. She was the first Kenyan woman to receive a Ph.D. from the University of Nairobi.

She has received several honours including the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) in 2003, Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS) in 2016, and the Chief of the Order of Burning Spear (CBS) in 2018.

The Kenyan politician and academic has since gone off the limelight, but we recall her classic outfits and neat hairstyle.

4. Judy Wakhungu

The Kenyan Ambassador  to France/Portugal/Serbia/Monaco/Holy See and former Environment Water Natural Resources Minister, prefers skirt suits and always looks delightful.

5. Beatrice Adagala

Vihiga woman rep is seeking re-election and always wears kitenges. On other occasions, Beatrice wears skirt suits.

6. Anab Subow Gure

The Garissa woman rep dons her traditional Muslim gear beautifully.

7. Rehema Jaldesa

The Isiolo woman rep also wears her religious attire and we don't see trousers.
