Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's youngest adopted son, Satrine Osinya, turns 10 years today.
Sonko's family took to his social media to write a heartfelt message to thank God for a brother and the tremendous blessing he has brought.
Saumu wished Satrine a happy birthday thanking God for bringing him into their lives.
"Since you came into our lives, you have brought nothing but happiness. may you grow to be a God-fearing man and may God 's blessings forever follow you. Happy birthday dear brother Satrine. We love you."
Also celebrating Satrine was his adoptive mother, Primrose Mbuvi who wrote;
"Son, you are our greatest blessing! May your 10th birthday and all your tomorrow’s be blessed with everything good in life. Happy 10th Birthday! I love u my son and I will always, always love you."
Satrine and his brother Gift joined Sonko’s family in 2014 after surviving a terror attack that left their mother dead and a bullet lodged in Satrine’s head.
Gift was captured in a photo holding his younger brother Satrine who was bleeding after the attack.
After a undergoing a successful surgery, Sonko adopted both of them and have been living with them since.
Satrine's brother Gift completed his form four in 2021.
Sonko took to his social media to celebrate his adopted son, Gift Osinya after he cleared his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination.
"Gift and Satrine have been an immense blessing to me and my family ever since, and it’s been with great joy that we have watched the two grow into fine, young men with a promising future ahead of them," Sonko wrote.
For the four years of his secondary education, Gift was at the prestigious Lenana School.
