Presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame, who is running on an independent ticket has unveiled Irene Ngendo Kamau as his running mate ahead of August polls.
Kigame, a gospel singer, said he is confident he will transform the country if he is elected as President.
“Irene and I believe in the citizens of this country. We believe Kenyans deserve more than what we’ve been getting,” he said.
Kigame says that their aim is to build Kenya by empowering women and men and securing children's futures.
Kagame has maintained that he will ensure that Kenyans are not impoverished due to high government expenditure that leads to a huge cost of living if he is elected in August.
Deputy President William Ruto, Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition flagbearer Raila Odinga, and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka have all unveiled their running mates.
