Lawyer Karen Nyamu, who contested for the Nairobi Senatorial seat under UDA Party is finding her ways of accepting fate and moving on.
On April 9, the party's leader William Ruto announced that they nominated Bishop Margaret Wanjiru as their candidate for the senatorial race.
This left Karen Nyamu out of the box since she was also interested in the same position.
Now, Karen Nyamu says that she has decided to squander the money she had set aside for the political campaigns.
"Pesa yangu ya campaign wacha nikule yote hapa Burma market hahaha Happy Easter folks nawapenda," Karen captioned in a photo where she was eating a chicken steak.
On the day that UDA was conducting their national nominations, Karen implied that she was at peace with the decision made by her party.
"Nominations ni kukachora, na kama hatungeicheza vile tumecheza juzi leo ingekuwa usiku yetu ya pressure haha hatungepata usingizi. May the best men/women win so that we can all then focus on delivering the presidential vote in our different counties," she wrote.
Even after being denied the party ticket, Karen has been involved in other activities in UDA.
