Deputy President William Ruto is marking his 55th birthday today, December 21.

This also marks his the day he got married to his wife Rachael Ruto.

Rachael has taken to her social media to wish her husband a happy birthday.

She penned,

"This day forever remains special. As we celebrate your birthday & our wedding anniversary, I can confidently say, Ebenezer – This far has the Lord brought us. You're a true friend, confidant & wonderful father to our children.

William Ruto's political friends and fans have also come out in large numbers to wish him a happy birthday on social media.

Ruto himself has not shared his plans for the day - whether he is going to throw a party or continue with his busy campaign schedule at Tana River County where he is expected to popularize his 2022 Presidential bid.
