Today afternoon, Alfred Mutua launched the manifesto for his 2022 electoral bid for the presidency of Kenya.
One of the most interesting proposals made by the Machakos governor was that his government would give newly-weds Sh500,000 to Sh1 million in kind, payable in 20 years, to start life.
That wasn't all, the politician had some other lofty promises he made in his proposal. Some of them are below;
1. Double the Economy Each year by 11%
2. Create 10 Million Jobs for Youths in 5 Years
3. Ensure Smooth Business Environment to Attract Investors
4. Fight Corruption and Jail all Cartels
5. Ensure Free Healthcare and Education to All
Some of the other proposals that he launched aimed at the entertainment industry are below:
1 Establishment of production centres in all counties to create more Machawoods.
2. Provide technical support for TV show productions.-
3. Allocation of funds for entertainment industry SMEs.
4. Tax waivers for local and international production.
5. Establishment of innovation centres for designers manufacturers and business people in all counties.
6. Simplified access to credit through youth fund.
