Deputy President William Ruto has mourned the late Bishop Godfrey Migwi who passed on yesterday. Taking to his social media platforms, DP Ruto described Migwi as a bold and powerful spiritual leader who had a great sense of humor.

According to sources, Bishop Migwi succumbed to High Blood Pressure.

He was a strong political commentator and a strong supporter of the Deputy President.

In his statement, DP said Migwi was also his mentor and a friend with firm pastoral faith that he infused to many of them. The DP wrote;

"Bishop Godfrey Migwi was a bold, vocal, and powerful spiritual leader with a great sense of humour. He was a mentor and a friend with firm pastoral faith that he infused to many of us. We will miss his topical and nourishing sermons. Our love and prayers to the family, their loved ones, and the House Of Hope Church-Kayole fraternity during this sad time. Rest In Peace, Bishop Migwi."

The House of Hope minister Migwi had announced that he wanted to vie for the Mathioya parliamentary seat.
