• Joho assured that the jab does not also make him infertile, he can impregnate a woman.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has dismissed reports that the COVID-19 vaccine causes low libido in men.
In a bid to sensitize Mombasa residents on the importance of getting vaccinated, Joho said that he has received two jabs and his 'bedroom game' is still high.
Joho went ahead to say that the jab does not also make him infertile, he can impregnate a woman.
“Let me tell you, I have taken the vaccine twice and can confirm to you that the strength (libido) is high, don’t even ask. The other issue about siring, bring a young woman who wants to get pregnant and see if I won’t sire,” Joho said.
The Mombasa Governor further assured the men that their women are safe, and no one will snatch them if they get vaccinated.
“So don’t listen to the propaganda of those who say you won’t sire and perform the night functions and that those men who have been vaccinated, their wife will seek help from their neighbours. The vaccine is okay and it makes you safe,” he added Joho.
Last week, a video of Interior CS Fred Matiang'i telling men not to shy away from getting vaccinated also went viral.
In a public event, Matiang'i told the men to ignore reports that their 'transformers' will stop working if they get the COVID-19 vaccine.
"Waziri(Mutahi Kagwe) has said that he has been vaccinated, and he has tried, the battery is still working. So if the minister has been vaccinated and the transformer is working, why are you disturbed? Get vaccinated," Matiang'i said.
