Flamboyant ex-Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has carved out a nice piece of his kingdom in Mua Hills, Machakos.

His youngest daughter Sandra Mbuvi took her followers through a tour of his property in an Instagram video that has since gone viral.

To get to Sonko's two-story mansion you have to go through a gold theme on its perimeter wall and has the name ‘Sonko's Family Farm’.

Sandra took her followers into the house past the two lions sculptures guarding the main door.

Inside the compound, there is a basketball court, an ostrich pen, exotic birds pen and a mausoleum of Sonko's father Kioko Kivanguli.

There is a fully stocked bar in the mansion and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking beautiful scenery.

Sonko seems to also have a love for exotic wild animals, from the house tour video, the politician has peacocks and ostriches as well some exotic fowl with long legs and colourful feathers. 

He also has a number of horses grazing on the property.
