The interweb is abuzz with news of a form one student who reported for his first day in high school  in a chopper. 

The Maranda Boys High School student landed in the school's field in a chopper,  whose tail number is 5Y-PKZ.

Sources claim that the boy is one of the few students that were selected by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for sponsorship.

The landing chopper caused quite a commotion and everything came to a standstill at the school

The admission of 1.15 million Form 1 students to secondary schools started on Monday amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The admission process is expected to run through Friday.

The first day of admission was characterised by a huge turnout, posing a major challenge in managing crowds in various schools.
