• Diana Nyokabi scored 401 marks in her K.C.P.E but went back to repeat class 8 due to lack of Form 1 school fees.
Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has offered to help a top K.C.P.E candidate to continue with her studies.
After seeing the story of Diana Nyokabi online, Omanga promised to support her all through her secondary school.
"I want to support this girl through her secondary education. Anyone kindly DM her contacts as soon as possible," Wrote Millicent Omanga.
Apart from the nominated Senator, singer Akothee has also come out to offer her support to the girl.
Through her Akothee Foundation, the mother of five is willing to get Kenyans to support the girl.
"Kindly contact us please , this girl is bright and we can't just allow her waste another year. Hata kama ni harambee ,tupeleke mtoto shule. (Even through an Harambee, we take the child to school.)
My hands are full but this we can pull. Poleni wazazi ,it's hard but we shall make it if we join strengths," she said.
Other than the two, a medical practitioner, Dr. Bosire has also offered her support.
