A young man sporting dreds and a light brown outfit dared to defy security protocols at the Madaraka Day celebrations in Kisumu.

He had no shoes on and his t-shirt had a Jubilee party logo.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was making his speech when the young man started running toward the president.

Security officers whisked him away.
