Police To Pay 4 Million After Circulating Girl's Nude Photos

In August 2015, a form four student was searched by police and found hiding bhang and a matchbox in her underwear.

The student who was then 18 years was given a probation of 18 months under the care of her parents after revealing that the illegal drugs were for a friend.

The girl, together with other students were arrested on their way to their homes from school for the holidays.

After she was found in possession of Marijuana, the girl, who was at the time aged 18, was arraigned in a Baricho Magistrates Court in Kirinyaga. She pleaded guilty but told the court she was holding the drugs for a friend.

She was detained at the Embu GK prison for five days after which she was convicted to serve 18 months probation.

The driver and conductor of the bus were charged with traffic-related offences including overloading. They pleaded guilty to all the counts and were released on a fine of Ksh. 45,000 and Ksh. 40,000 respectively.

Well, the student has now been awarded a total of four million after she was stripped naked, photos that were circulated to the public.
