This happened in Indonesia when some police officers tried to burn a huge stack of weed. This made the journalists and residents present begin feeling dizzy after inhaling the fumes. The smoke was drifted by wind to homes.

“I got a headache because I wasn't wearing a mask," said one of the persons affected. The incident took place in West Jakarta, where Marijuana is illegal. The country has in the past done crackdowns and siezed tonnes of marijuana, ecstasy and meth. They used the same criteria for getting read of the drugs.

The country will need to reform its policies as the same may continue in the future. Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency has however assured residents that the fumes would not cause longterm health problems to the people affected.

Since its operation in January, the 14 suspects have been detained.
