Murang'a county is known as a quiet, hilly and picturesque part of Kenya that comes alive when a visiting politician or the general elections come around.

But this past week, things did not go according to script in the Mugeka town which The town saw some activity that will go down in folklore, about badly behaving police officers. This is one of those stories that you are told by your relatives and your spidey senses go off. Meaning the story is too good to be true. Movie-style.

The assistant county commander was appalled by his officers' behaviour and read them the riot act. He insisted:

“Why have you taken it upon yourselves to resolve a dispute? You came to the town and beat everyone in the town including your boss."
