Elizabeth Kinyanjui, the cousin to Kinyanjui Wambaa, the construction worker killed in the Kiambu murders has asked for help to bury him.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Elizabeth says her cousin has not been accorded the due attention as one of the victims in the murder.

"I just see my brother being called 'a construction worker, farm hand, casual laborer.' He is a human being, a family man," she said.

She said that the family was appealing for help from well-wishers to foot hospital bills and burial costs.
Kinyanjui Wambaa was aged 38 and was father of two.

"We received the news after two days and it is really sad.

We viewed and identified the body and it was in a very bad state. We have been meeting at his family's home. We are satisfied with the investigation process by the DCI.

Elizabeth adds that the family that has been left behind is very young and has no income to even cater for their basic needs.

"A very young wife, a one FOUR years and another one who is six months.

A very poor family and as we are talking the house has been locked because there was a rent arrears of 10k.

Tumekwama and we do not know where to start. The MCA visited the family and we hope he will assist.

The burial will be on Wednesday at Gathiga because we cannot manage to transfer him in Nyandarua.

What traspired is what we do not know.
