Controversial bloggers Robert Alai and human rights activist Boniface Mwangi are well-known frenemies to Kenyans. Earlier on today, Robert Alai took to social media to expose Boniface Mwangi, in a long piece titled "Hypocrisy ya Pawa". He lashed out at the human rights activist whom he termed as a narrow-minded tribalist whose mentality can only be compared to a person who thinks raping a child cures HIV/AIDS. Robert Alai seems to have been annoyed by Boniface Mwangi's statement that claimed that Gor will NEVER win any cup with Raila in attendance.

Robert Alai defended the former Prime Minister and Gor Mahia die hard fan and also Moses Kuria who has been making headlines for inciting public violence.

So Raila, Moses Kuria, yours truly and many others flew to Dar to watch Gor Mahia. Nothing to worry about only that some who have very narrow understanding of sports wanted us to worry about the presence of Moses Kuria.

First, sports is not politics. That's why a prison team can play even a church team. That's why politicians can form a team and play even their staunchest of adversaries. For one to think that Moses Kuria should have been stoned because he went to Dar is to be extremely foolish.

The same people who claim that Moses Kuria is the poster boy of hate speech in Kenya are too hateful but mask it in pomp of middle class. The same time Boniface was accusing Moses Kuria of hate speech, he claimed that Gor Mahia lost because Raila was in Dar. He claimed that Gor will NEVER win any cup with Raila in attendance.

What Boniface Mwangi doesn't see is that the mentality he has is the same as that of someone who thinks that raping a child cures him of AIDS. The same mentality which makes someone burn people in church because they were born of the same tribe as a political opponent. It is the same mentality which makes someone forcibly circumcise those he doesn't agree with politically because he believes that the circumcised have better brains.

How is Raila's presence in Dar affecting Gor? what is your rationale in attacking him for going to support whatever team he likes? How scientific is your opinion? What is the difference between Boniface Mwangi and Moses Kuria? Is Boniface Mwangi also not telling us that we should kill Moses Kuria the moment we see him? Where do our legal institutions come in if we use such narrow minds?

The same Boniface Mwangi who thinks that he fights for justice is the same man who called a GANG of confused BIKERS to go raid a police station because he was arrested? If you are arrested why not hire a lawyer and fight in courts? We get arrested everyday and what I discourage is anyone raiding courts with gangs.

Boniface, you can't be right just because you mask your hate in Pawa lenses and shallow intellectual snobbishness. You need to know why even the most extreme enemies get united in sports. You need to learn why Tegla Lorupe could only use sports (athletics) to try to bring peace between the warring clans. You need to study the role of sports in peace.

I am the first person who demanded that Moses Kuria be charged, denied bail and punished for his utterances. But I have also insisted that Moses Kuria is a product of the unfinished dialogue on tribalism. He utters what Boniface Mwangi utters but mask in beautiful lenses. There is a problem of ethnicity in Kenya. It has to be addressed but not with the mindset of Boniface Mwangi.

On the issue of Boniface Mwangi calling us paid twitter brigade, I ask when he was not paid for what he was doing. Ask him how he acquire crowds. Ask Boniface how he gets to start campaigns. Ask him about the meeting he had last week in his office where he is to run campaigns to support a business man cornered. Boniface Mwangi you will embarass yourself. You are the biggest cons. How do the people who started PAWA254 feel? Do you see eye to eye with all? Do you want to be aired dry?
