Betty Bayo is a woman with a broken heart.
She professed the same in a recent Instagram post where she wrote, "Is it true it's no longer safe to fall in love in Kenya?"
Betty is co-parenting with her ex-hubby Prophet Kanyari after they broke up. Theirs was a whirlwind romance that was envied by everyone in the gospel circles. Until things did not work out.
In her YouTube channel, Betty shared that she was so depressed she attended a wedding wearing slippers.
'Someone might ask if I have ever been depressed and I would say, yes I have.
I knew I was depressed after I attended a wedding only to realize that I had worn slippers. I had not combed my hair nor had I applied lotion on myself.
Here are reactions to her take on love by her fans.
rozzymungora: Very very true, it's soo sad how things are turning up
mbuafrank: Betty, it depends on what kind of love that drives both the lovers. True love is the most secure, beautiful, comfortable and happiest thing to happen to one's life. There is a difference between True love which makes one adore and True lust that makes one compare and then becomes insecure.
boss_mundu: False. It is very safe. Make sure you walk with x-ray machines to check the hearts of those who pose to love you. Simple.
simonmwania: False...infact nowadays it depends on the one you love.
swanyoike87: Yeah utapewa penzi ya kukata na shoka.
mukami.mukami: It’s true dear
rosekagwi: Weeeh...very true.
wambuimunyui: Very true. Heri kukaa.
nashwambugua: I love you Betty
