It was an all-wedding affair and as expected, the Samantha Bridal Fair was a massive success. From the jovial exhibitors to the people who attended, everything was indeed awesome. The location, Sarit Center was full with attendants and avid followers of the TV version of the show. There were handmade crafts, wedding gowns, limousine service companies, DJ and sound system companies, cake and confectionery companies, hotels and lounges, hats and coat companies, video and photography companies among other exhibitors.

The MC of the day was Capital FM’s news reader, Angela Muiruri. She was absolutely lovely in her red gown – perfect for the Grammy’s red carpet. She handled the red carpet moderation with great composure and definitive warmth…the outcome? An incredible show. The exhibitors were offering bridal gowns, menswear, decor and event planning, transport, stationery, jewellery, kitchenware among other services. Some of the notable hotels present included Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Intercontinental Hotel, Sarova Hotels, Safari Park Hotels, Windsor Golf Club among others.

Among the stands that I visited included the newly formed Safari Park Outside catering unit. The offerings were wonderful. The sample ambience comprised of gorgeous indoor lighting, fairytale-esque bubbles, a wide collection of colors among other stuff. The other stand I visited was the Vito Maridadi, a hand-made jewellery brand. It was its first public appearance but trust me, their collection of beads, ethnic fashion among other stuff. Below are some of the pictures from the exhibition:
