Pitson started his music career back in high school where he serenaded the girls with his guitar skills. He then ventured into gospel music with major hits such as Niwache niimbe and Lingala ya Yesu the song that gave him his major breakthrough. The song also made him win awards.

Apart from , he is also a father and a husband. He recently became a father of a second child. He welcomed his wife and new-born with a warm and close-knit party.
