The name of the pilot who was riding the helicopter in which legendary basketball player died in on Sunday, 26/01/2020 has been released.
The helicopter which crashed and burst into flames in the hills above Calabasas was being ridden by Ara Zobayan.
One thing to note is that the pilot tried all he could before the plane crashed.
TMZ reports that the flight tracker data shows Kobe’s chopper appeared to first encounter weather issues as it was above the L.A. Zoo.
It circled that area at least 6 times at a very low altitude — around 875 feet — perhaps waiting for the fog to clear.
