Two months after being separated from her daughter owing to Covid-19, Pierra Makena says the experience has taught her not to take things for granted.

Taking to her social media, an excited Pierra penned

'Reunited with my baby after almost 2 months.

And now the real dawn of realizing that one might not even work for a while...

for a minute I stopped thinking about me and thought of acrobats..bands..emcees. etc and I am glad the government has remembered them.

Don't get me wrong for celebrating this..reason being i am confident that the government has a plan for everyone else..

if Artists have been remembered then u can be sure there is hope for everyone else.

Thank you to all who made this happen. One day at a time.'

Makena had earlier opened up on how the separation from her daughter due to Covid-19 affected her.

‘IF YOU KNOW ME…YOU WILL KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE MY BABY.

BEING SEPARATED HAS BEEN ONE OF MY WORST NIGHTMARES.

I GET ANXIOUS. I GET SLEEPLESS NIGHT.

I THANK GOD FOR MY FAMILY WHO ARE EXTREMELY SUPPORTIVE AND ASSURING ME EVERYDAY THAT ALL WILL BE OK.'

Sharing a photo of herself and her daughter Makena further penned

'THANKYOU @VEEJAYSTUDIOS FOR THIS MEMORY..😥😥😥😥😥& @RUTHODHIAMBO FOR STYLING. 5 MORE DAYS TO GO.

MAY GOD PROTECT US ALL.’
