Terryanne Chebet has always left a mark when it comes to her birthdays. Last year, she was treated to an all-white Yatch party by her royal media friends. Her squad included Monica Kiragu, Shix Kapienga, Kirigo Ng'arua and Jacque Maribe.

This time around, the destination is at  Mukima house, luxury country home in Laikipia overlooking Mt Kenya.

This year she has decided to celebrate this special day with a different bunch of people. The only person who was present is her former royal media colleague Kirigo who penned down a message for Chebet thanking her for choosing her to be a friend.

She wrote.

I remember watching you when you were at CNBC and I kept hoping and wishing we could be friends...and look at us here...😊😊😊 a friendship that has grown over 10 years...we have laughed,we have cried,we have fought,we have “cancelled” each other and we have prayed for each other. I am grateful that you chose me and stuck by us through the good and bad times... as you turn 40, you know my prayer for you.. 😊😊😊😊 happy birthday my love,
