We are this morning waking up to the sad news that Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan’s ex hubby, Ivan Semwanga, passed away, Fans, friends have reached out to her with tributes upon his passing away.

Ivan, a businessman and a Uganda-South African based tycoon was known for his flamboyant lifestyle as people used to call him the rich gang president.

Ivan was admitted to ICU, and stayed in a coma for 11 days at the Steve Biko, Pretoria hospital in South Africa after he suffered a heart attack. Prior to this he was known for his posh lifestyle where he owned multi million dollar mansions, hotels and schools in South Africa. He leaves behind three sons.
