Today, veteran politician Musalia Mudavadi's mother, Mama Hannah Mudavadi was laid to rest in Vihiga.

Paying tribute to her, Mudavado said,

"My Mother was a good MOTHER. In death, I don't know what else to say about a mother who is good. From an early age she busied herself around me and ensured I did things right."

The burial was attended by political bigwigs among them Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In honour of Mama Hannah Vihiga county Government renamed Sabatia sub county hospital to Mama Hannah Mudavadi Sub county Hospital.
