On Sunday, Kalenjin superstar Rhino Kaboom left the house and his family in the hope that he will see them again in the evening.

He was topping charts with his single Lulu.

But that was not to be as the grim reaper snatched away his life.

The star whose real name is Harmon Kipkirui Rono lost his life in an accident at Emining, Baringo County on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the musician, who was riding a motorbike was involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota Probox, where he died on the spot.

He is survived by a wife and a son.

In a past tweet, Rhino Kaboom introduced his family saying,

"Love my family."
