A photo captured awhile back of the Deputy President William Ruto's wife Rachel and one of her daughter's attended a function at St. Theresa’s Tartar Girls High School, has excited netizens.

They had fun with the students and Rachel Ruto took to social media to urge all young girls across the world to respect their mothers.

She wrote:

"I joined the students of St. Theresa’s Tartar Girls High School in Kapenguria, West Pokot, their parents and the Tartar community in celebrating their special Mother’s Day. I shared with them a message regarding 6 ingredients I believe will lead to great mother-daughter relationships. I urged the girls to be respectful and friends with their mothers because, in the end, mothers are mentors, life teachers, confidantes, real and compassionate people striving to fulfill Psalms 144:12 that tells us to mould our daughters in their youth to become like carved pillars fit to adorn a palace."
