Chase Bank went down and it did so with thousands of Kenyans' money, and now everyone is panicking. There were attempts to withdraw all the money from various accounts by their owners, but that ended up being an exercise in futility for many guys.

And now attention has turned to Rafiki Microfinance, an institution owned by Chase Bank that the CBK had declared safe from the mess at it's parent company.

That reassurance did little to stave off the swarms of worried clients who have jammed the microfinance institution to get their money the hell out of there. One of those Kenyans is Swaleh Mdoe, and we have a photo of him doing his best to keep his money safe:
