Investigation murder filed in Kiambu against Peter Karanja has been adjourned till next Thursday for purpose of confirming case number.

This is in regards to the murder of Tob Cohen whose body was found dumped in a tank at his KItisuru home.

The murder case against Karanja has been filed at Milimani registry by prosecution.

Senior principal magistrate Stellah Stambo set the mention date after the court was informed Karanja was expected to be arraigned before Kiambu court after spending 14 days in police custody.

He had been detained for detectives to complete probe into the murder of Cohen. Karanja has already been taken to court to plead to the charges of murder.

It is said that detectives found evidence linking him with the grueome murder.

Sarah Cohen, wife to the late business man is the other person who has been charged with the murder. She has been in custody for weeks as investigations continued.

Tob Cohen was laid to rest on September 24, 2019 in a ceremony attended by close family and friends at the Jewish cemetery on Wangari Maathai Road.
