Size 8 and DJ Mo are turning out to be dotting parents.

To celebrate their daughter turning a year older, the gospel couple spent lavishly on their litto tot. Size 8 and DJ Mo spared no expense for their Ladasha Belle who is also earning her own money.

Ladasha bagged a million bob brand endorsement deal with a diapers company.

This announcement came at an opportune time, a few days before she turned a year older. Ladasha Belle's parents invited their gospel music colleagues for the celebrations held at Giraffe Arc Resort in Nyeri.

It was a destination birthday celebration. The invited guests were ferried to Nyeri, their food and accommodation paid for as well.

Size 8 told Nairobian that the reason for this extravagance is to celebrate their first child and the hardships they had to go through in her pregnancy and her birth.

"I cannot reveal the exact amount I spent on my baby but she deserves it. I never had time to celebrate her since she was born. For starters, she was underweight since I had complications with the placenta making it hard for her to feed. My mother had also died at the same time so I was grieving."

Gossip pundits have said that the total amount spent on the weekend festivities may have amounted to a little over Sh500,000.
